Acceptable-use policy

What you may and may not send through WhispShare. This policy is part of the terms; breaking it can end the account.

Last updated October 29, 2026

What it is for

Sharing files and short messages between two devices for a limited time: your own documents, photos, bookings, reviews and records; a business collecting documents from customers who say yes; a family room, a desk, a delivery.

What it is not for

  • Content that is illegal to hold or share, including abuse material, which we report where the law requires.
  • Malware, phishing and links or files meant to compromise a device.
  • Spam, unsolicited bulk sending and link rotation meant to dodge a block.
  • Impersonation: a page, card or template pretending to be a person or business it is not.
  • Content you have no right to share, and anything meant to harass, threaten or defraud.
  • Probing or breaking the service itself: bypassing rate limits, caps or encryption, scraping link pages, interfering with other sessions.

What happens

Because content never reaches our servers, we act on the metadata we can see and on reports: we can block a link, suspend or end an account, and refuse relay capacity. We cannot retrieve, produce or delete the content of a session — it lives on the devices. Reports go to support@whispshare.com with the link or slug, never with the content itself.
